We made a quick getaway to New Orleans for some fun, food and relaxation. After a few days of hurricanes, creole delights, and a lot of sweating we ended our last night with a ghost tour. I think I need a little more of the Big Easy. Is it Friday yet?

Do It Together Memphis is a organization that my friend and I started to raise money to help the community. This is the poster that I designed for this year’s fundraiser. I was thinking about how one person can really make a difference and the ways we were connecting to the community. I started working on a logo of hand drawn type to relay this idea and it became the whole poster.

Books are on my audit list from things I loved as a child and as an adult. “The Incredible Book Eating Boy”, by Oliver Jeffers is a great example of one of my first loves, and the newest edition to my daughter’s library.
