Old Southern Charm

I recently visited Rosealie Mansion in Natchez, Mississippi. This home was built in 1823 and overlooks the Mississippi river. What I love most about old homes is learning how they were designed to function for the lives of the people that lived there. Old Southern homes have their decoration, but they are also built to make the best of the smothering heat and bugs that come with the many months of warm weather.

Men and Thongs, Trending?!

I was listening to our local DJ’s recap an episode of Axe Men where a burly logger is wearing his lady’s thong. Hillarious right, but he is not the only one! We were on the deck of a restuarant having some alone time…looking at the waves…smelling the salt water. Then we notice the family guy playing with his kids in the sand and flashing his whale tale! So it went like this,”love you boo..I love you..this is so nice…Is that a thong? Shut the hell up! NO! YES! Holy Crap! What the @#@#@? Obviously we had to take a picture!
