Fat Eye Design

31 Oct

This is the logo I designed for Fat Eye Design. This etsy shop contains prints, textiles, and furniture. The name started as a joke. I was laughing with my friend, who is from China, about how all of my Asian friends think I look Asian. It is because I have almond shaped eyes and heavy eye lids. I told her I have some serious fat eye when I wake up and my eyes are puffy! It was funny, so I kept it. I have had a lot of people ask me what my ethnicity is, and I take it as a compliment. Have I peaked your interest? Both of my Grandparents were half Native America and half Irish. I proudly come from a long line of fat eyes!

Logos are visual beginning of the branding family. I do not think this is the most successful logo for the identity of the company, but I am playing the role of the Grandparent. I can only offer advise, it’s not my child raise.
