Photoshop Tutorial for that Retro Look

I learned to process photography the ole fashioned way. I am probably destined to grow another finger, or some other freakish things from ignoring the warnings NOT to touch the chemical baths. I always liked the high contrast, UN color balanced photos. Though I miss the darkroom, I do appreciate that I can do this safely from my computer with Photoshop. The following are some before and after examples I shot with my handy iPhone and a how to.

New Orleans: Sweat, Charm, and Mystery

We made a quick getaway to New Orleans for some fun, food and relaxation. After a few days of hurricanes, creole delights, and a lot of sweating we ended our last night with a ghost tour. I think I need a little more of the Big Easy. Is it Friday yet?

Country Store

I love the texture and the mysterious qualities of buildings that carry a long history. What is more creepy cool than a country store? This store is located between Vicksburg and Natchez Mississippi.
